Aimee has been a medical writer since 2007. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia, as well as a master of public health and a graduate certificate in HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) from the University of Washington. Aimee’s areas of expertise include HIV, reproductive health, and adolescent sexuality. Aimee has worked in health education since 1999, most recently as an HIV Prevention Educator for at-risk youth in Seattle. The transition from educator to writer came naturally to Aimee, as she enjoys disseminating up-to-date information with the ultimate goal of improving public and individual health. Aimee is dedicated to best practices, accuracy, and the application of principles of evidence-based medicine to the development of written medical materials.
